Using DNN4Free is actually quite easy and doesn't really take that much work at all.  There's really just a few pieces of information we need from you:


1)  Your Account Information
These are the credentials that you want to use to log into the website.  We require some pretty basic information such as your name and email address.  When we provision your account, the email address you specify will be the name of your user account, so make sure you use valid information!

2)  Your Domain Name
This is the name that we'll use to provision your website.  Don't worry though - if you don't have one, you can always either grab one from GoDaddy.com or we can create a generic one for you.

Is that all there is to it?
Yep!  It is pretty simple actually, but that's the nice thing about DNN.  It doesn't take much to get a lot done.

Why are you doing this and how do you get paid?
When I started DNN4Free, it was basically just a side project that I enjoyed doing.  I'm a very passionate DNN developer and I love seeing people adopt DNN.  However, as DNN4Free started growing, free customers started asking me to do paid development work for them.  Things have grown and grown and now with over 3,000 websites hosted with us, we stay pretty busy doing paid development work for the customers who want it.  To put things simply, our hosting customers pay us, but only if they want us to do development or consulting work.  If you're interested learning more about us, take a look at the About Us page.
